Radiology (or X-rays ) help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. Our hospital uses state of the art digital xray. Digital xray provides a clearer, sharper image for diagnosis.
Once your pet's xrays have been taken, your veterinarian is able to digitally send the images to a board certified veterinary radiologist for review. Digital images may also be electronically transferred to board certified specialists in case of a patient transfer.
Ultrasound is used to take a closer look at the organ systems. Using ultrasonography, our doctors are able to diagnose conditions, such as renal and liver disease, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disease and cancer. Ultrasound is also used to confirm pregnancy.
